For those of you who like the world of beauty, it must have been uncommon for this beauty blogger: Elizabeth Christina, better known as Lizzie Parra. Yup, Lizzie Parra is besides beauty blogger, vlogger and also make up artist, now it has expanded to become an entrepreneur by having make-up under its own name label: BLP (By Lizzie Parra).
In the midst of his busy schedule, Lizzie who is also the first alumni of Prasetiya Mulya University (2005) tells of the beginning of his career until finally he is currently plunging as an entrepreneur to ceritaprasmul:
Lizzie, was very happy with the beauty world, after graduating from Prasetiya Mulya University in 2009, she immediately entered L’oreal and after graduating from the L’oreal management trainee program, she immediately held YSL products. "The one who entered my CV to L'oreal was Prasetiya Mulya, you know" he added. Lizzie revealed that in fact she was very happy to hold YSL products, and she acknowledged the knowledge she got at Prasetiya Mulya was very useful in her career there. But when he finally had to replace his friend holding a fragrance, boredom began to hit Lizzie, especially from the first time he wanted to create his own make-up line, "from the beginning I wanted to compare myself and make something new," he added.
After that he began to study self-taught and a course at La Salle for two months. His name began to stick through his blog www.lizzieparra.com and word of mouth, until finally he could become a make up artist for artists and for magazines, even holding beauty spreads in magazines, and up to the wedding make up artist to date. And again, his desire not to be there and make things appear again.
"Because I really like the beauty world and my people from lipstick reviews, therefore I ventured to open a product under my own name label starting with lip coat," said Lizzie whose lipstick collection reached 400 pieces of this lipstick. After deciding to make her own make up label, Lizzie did not play games and she did a survey of three make-up factories. And after getting a factory that is in line with its vision and mission, Lizzie decided to make "lip coat" as her first product.
So what is the advantage of BLP lip coat compared to other products? "The advantage of BLP lip coat is because it responds to the market's desire to have a pigmented lip coat, with one swipe can be covered, the second responds to the desire for matte lipstick that is not dry, so that those who have dry and cracked lips can use this product and the third is attachment between me and the consumer, ”said Lizzie, who has 3 consumer groups on her line and one group consists of 300 consumers.
As an initial product of BLP, Lizzie released 8 colors to represent 8 personalities: Persimmon Pie, Lavender Cream, Butter Fudge, Peppermint Pink, Bloody Mary, Candy Apple, Beet Me and Burnt Cinnamon. Where everyday color colors become the most sought after and most popular colors, namely: (4 colors) Butter Fudge, Persimmon Pie, Lavender Cream, and Burnt Cinnamon. This lip coat will last a day as long as we don't eat, and the two-year expiration period.
For BLP sales, Lizzie claimed that hard work brings its own blessings. "The sales were surprisingly excited. Since the new press launch opened on the website on June 23, 2016, the first day had 1400 orders, and we sold 4000an in the first week, "he said. He claimed to have been overwhelmed by the order. "On the second day I cried because we panicked." He added again. The BLP team was initially only four and new in the field of e-commerce, and the first day of the website crashed. He admitted that the first week was chaotic. In the second month we have left 1000 pieces left and until now we have left 11000 pieces, "Lizzie added. Even when he participated in the Market Museum, the line also snapped out of the mall, and ran out in three days until he had to issue a new variant, namely mini lip coat.
Lizzie claimed that the knowledge from Prasetiya Mulya was really used in developing her brand and business. "To make this all practically the learning outcomes are 4 years from prasetiya mulya. In terms of branding, in terms of marketing, advertising, and PR 80% is the science of prasmul. I also got this instinct because I went to school in Prasetiya Mulya, ”said Lizzie, who is currently running her BLP business with business director and finance who is also a graduate of Prasetiya Mulya University.
In the future, he admitted that he still has many targets to be achieved, namely developing and selling new products in addition to lip coat and making BLP as a global brand. Starting in October, the products can not only be ordered through the www.blpbeauty.com website, but can also be booked through sosiola.com and for offline sales Lizzie is approaching with Sephora and Aeon Mall.
Okay, Lizzie, we pray that BLP will truly become a global brand in the near future. Continue to succeed, Lizzie!
