First Comer Natural Dyed Shoes
"Up and down must be there, so the commitment of its own members is important."
Raising local brands is a dream to develop Indonesia. This then began to be realized by one of the 2015 Prasetiya Mulya, Karafuru student brands that engaged in young children's shoes. Uniquely, these shoes are made with natural dyed or natural dyes that are environmentally friendly. For the second time, Karafuru was present as one of the tenants at the Pop Up Market, which was held in Kuningan City on 8 - 11 March 2018.
Karafuru's story begins with the existence of one of the 3 semester courses in the Prasetiya Mulya S1, namely Business Creation. In this course, all students majoring in Business management are required to form teams that then think of business ideas to be implemented in real life. Until now, Karafuru was run by 9 Prasetiya Mulya S1 undergraduate students in 2015 and has been officially operating for 2 years since October 2016.
Every fashion must be able to give their own differences and uniqueness. Karafuru comes from the Japanese meaning "colorful". The Karafuru model follows the times and they use "Sashiko" which is a sewing technique from Japan to give an exclusive impression. The color is highlighted by blue because it has proximity to calmness, harmony, and intelligence.
As the First Comer of Natural Dyed Shoes in Indonesia, Karafuru has a hope to become a Market Leader. Karafuru also has a dream that they can provide inspiration that the opportunity to start a business from a young age is also not impossible.
Not only that, Auliya, who is one of the founders of Karafuru, shared lessons that can be gained from the existence of this business activity. It is very important for everyone to be diligent in doing something. The situation can not always be good, so commitment is one of the main things to have. Furthermore, must be willing to be open to internal and external suggestions. Finally, don't forget to be able to build good teamwork and work flexibly according to the discipline that has been agreed upon together.
