Bachelor’s Degree Program (S1) Financial Technology at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya (in English)

The program, which is one of the concentrations of the Management study program, is affiliated with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program. This prestigious financial certification is internationally recognized and acknowledged by more than 100 countries. The Financial Technology (S1 Teknologi Keuangan) program also adheres to global standards and integrates its curriculum with the CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK). The study program is conducted in English and is open to international students. The main focus of the Bachelor’s Program in Financial Technology (S1 Teknologi Keuangan) is to produce graduates with an interest and capability to innovate in the financial world to meet the needs of digital finance.

What is the essential difference between S1 Finance and Banking and S1 Financial Technology study program?

The main difference between the two lies in the language that is used in the learning process. S1 Finance and Banking study program uses mainly Indonesian language where Financial Technology study program uses mainly English. The profile of the Finance and Banking S1 undergraduate is Smart Investor, while the profile of the Financial Technology S1 undergraduate is Financial Technology Innovator.

Other than that one difference, both have affiliation with Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) University Affiliation Program—a prestigious certification that has an international recognition (more than 100 countries have recognized this program). This program has applied a global standardization and has integrated its curriculum with CFA Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK).

Why take the Bachelor’s Degree Program (S1) in Financial Technology at Universitas Prasetiya Mulya

Universitas Prasetiya Mulya recognizes the urgent need in the midst of the financial services revolution. The Financial Technology S1 study program, which is a concentration of the Management Study Program, has the aim of producing undergraduates who have the desire and skills to create creative innovations in the financial sector.

Curriculum

Carefully curated, the undergraduate Financial Technology study program curriculum involves finance & investment theory and actual, practical case studies.

In the first and second years of the program, students will be introduced to the business fundamentals. During this period, students are expected to apply those fundamentals by choosing  business investments that will lead students to the most profitable results.
