Learning process in S1 Business Program is designed to prepare students with global competitions ahead. Through experiential learning approach, students undergo experimentation and reflect their experience into conceptualization. This approach leads students to solve root problems through project-based learning frameworks.
Students of S1 Business Program also invited to various learning activities that enhance their skills, knowledge, and attitude. Students will experience case study, company, and start-up visits, business planning, business simulation, and other entrepreneurial projects that aim to generate student’s creativity and innovation. Learning process of S1 Business Program habituates students with working and business atmosphere. This situation will simulate the business process sensitivity of the students and provide them with wise decision-making skills.
In the first semester, students will learn business theories, whilst working on case studies, and project tasks. The learning process is created to build the needed entrepreneurial characteristics and the mentality of a business person. students are enhanced with analytical thinking skills; their courage to take risks are combined with strong leadership traits that are continuously exercised. Early in their studies, students learn to assess business opportunities starting with small group projects. In the later semesters, students will experience bigger challenges. They have to create new and original businesses, and executed their projects as businesses and defend them as their final business projects.
