Assurance of Learning (AoL)

Assurance of Learning (AoL) is a key component of AACSB process. Assurance of Learning (AoL) refers to the systematic process of gathering and analyzing data to demonstrate that students are achieving the intended learning outcomes of a program.  

For undergraduate programs, the SBE focuses on assessing the achievement of specific competency goals and learning objectives:

At this moment, the undergraduate and master program have closed the loop by having three-time data collection. We assessed the AoL by using both method of direct and indirect to gain a robust measurement. The result for undergraduate program AoL showed that the Undergraduate Program has successfully achieved the target for all CGs. The results for master program AoL suggests a need to further the continuous improvement in teaching. 

As for the doctoral program, we are still processing the second-time data collection. 

In summary, Assurance of Learning in the context of AACSB accreditation is a structured and ongoing process that involves setting learning goals, assessing student performance, using data for continuous improvement, and reporting these efforts to maintain and enhance the quality of our business school.
